French Country style is unlike any other style. It's very similar to Farmhouse French Country, but with it's own twist. French Country is a style that you could live in forever because it's the most relaxed style that you would have in your home. It's a style that embraces it's origins, within the gorgeous castles of many kings and the provinces cast in the countryside of France. Paris being a city within itself casts it's own beauty in the tall apartment buildings of different colors with heavy steel balconies always very ornate and gorgeous. My name is Taina. I live in Manchester NH - that tiny little state in between Maine and Massachusetts, 20 minutes North of Boston. I've lived here my entire life and have always enjoyed the beauty of living in between the mountains and the ocean.
One of the things that I absolutely love to do is "thrifting." Even buying some of my clothing in thrifting. I love the feeling I get while shopping on the hunt for that diamond in the rough. I love all things old that have been loved and cared for. I also love old things that are dented with wonderful patinas and even sometimes, a little rusty.
I love a home that's relaxed and lived in. Slipcovered furniture with painted antique side tables, handmade duvet covers made from vintage sheets and handmade draperies made from drop cloth fabric.
